Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office to host Annual National Night Out Event

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Sheriff Lane Cribb and the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office will host the 31st Annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5.

The free event will take place from 4 - 8 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Elementary Football Field for fun, food, music, and games. McGruff, the crime dog, will be present for photos.

"For the last 30 years, National Night Out has organized community events to showcase the vital importance of citizen involvement and partnerships with law enforcement in keeping families safe from crime," GCSO officials stated in a news release.

"I hope to see everyone at the National Night Out on August 5th for fun and fellowship. Come out and show your support for the communities of Georgetown County," Sheriff Lane Cribb commented.

The Pleasant Hill Elementary Football Field is located at 127 Schoolhouse Drive in Hemingway, South Carolina.
