Palmetto Goodwill and Ross to host Hire ME! event

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Palmetto Goodwill and Ross are hosting a Hire ME! event 10 a.m. Friday, August 1 at the Myrtle Beach Prosperity Center.

Below is information from a Palmetto Goodwill news release:

Ross Stores, Inc. managers will be on-site to conduct interviews for part-time sales and stock associates, security protection specialists, and cashiers. Medical benefits are available for these positions.

Applicants are encouraged to apply online at http://www.rossstores.com prior to the event. For those without computer access, Palmetto Goodwill offers computer use at Job Link Centers and staff to help with that process Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p. m.

Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina is a nonprofit social service organization whose mission is to help people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work.     The Pawleys Island Chapel is being carefully moved across the street Friday so that repairs can be made on the building’s foundation. The church, which has been in the Pawleys Island community for about 50 years, is being lifted and moved across Myrtle Avenue between the North and South Causeways.
