DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - Three people have been arrested following a traffic safety checkpoint in Darlington.
The checkpoint was held Tuesday, July 22 by the Darlington Police Department, Chief Watson confirmed.
The three people who were arrested were charged in connection to driving under suspension and driving without a license.
The police department posted the following message on its Facebook page:
Checkpoints like these are important in the effort to get drivers off the road whose license has been suspended for offenses such as DUI and operating an uninsured vehicle. Please excuse any disruption it make have caused you on your way to and from where ever you were headed.
