Darlington County officials arrest 2 men in 2 days

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two men have been arrested in connection with crimes that happened Sunday, July 21 and Monday, July 22.

James Skipper Jr., 42, has been charged with second-degree burglary, according to a news release issued by the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

On July 21, officials went to a burglary in Hartsville area of Darlington County. Skipper was located carrying a television from the residence and also had other property in their possession taken from residence, according to officials.

Ignacio Sanchez-Alegria, 18, has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and petit larceny, according to the release.

Sanchez-Alegria is accused of tying up and sexually assaulting a victim.

Officials located Sanchez-Alegria and arrested him.
