MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - For Clemson, one of the biggest questions going into 2014 was 'who would replace the departed Tajh Boyd under center in tiger town?' Earlier this season, it was announced that Cole Stoudt would be Clemson's starting quarterback this upcoming season.
Today began the ACC Kickoff event in Greensboro, N.C. and the senior signal caller was at ACC Media day. After being Boyd's back up the last three years, Stoudt's role may have changed but his preparation has not.
"[I'll prepare] just how I've always prepared for every game," said Stoudt. "Go in there, get in the film room. Constantly study and prepare like how I have for the past three years. Back then, I always used to prepare like I'm going to be the starter and now that I am the starter, I'm going to prepare the same way. Constantly put in more work and just developing the team and constantly being the leader and keeping the guys going."
Stoudt's first test under center comes August 30 when the Tigers travel to Athens, GA to take on the Georgia Bulldogs for the season opener.
