ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - Three men have been arrested for first-degree murder in reference to a man who was found dead at a Robeson County convenience store Tuesday night, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey.
Robeson County deputies arrived at the scene to find that Robert O'Neil Williamson, 28, of Fairmont, NC had been shot and killed.
Witnesses were interviewed and gave the description of three suspects and a vehicle.
The vehicle described was later spotted south of Lumberton by a deputy.
While the deputy followed the vehicle, weapons were thrown out the window into yards in East Lumberton, according to the sheriff's office report.
On another street, two of the suspects jumped from the vehicle and ran into a house.
Several investigators, deputies, and officers from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, and Lumberton Police Department secured all three crimes scenes. After that, 12 to 15 people were taken to the sheriff's office for questioning, and as a result of the investigation, three suspects were arrested.
Garionte Eunique Johnson, 16, and Marcus Taylor Locklear, 26, both of Fairmont, NC and David Terrell Mosley, 37, of Lumberton, NC are all being charged with murder in the first degree.
All three were placed into the Robeson County Detention Center. No bond is set.
