MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man found more than $12,000 worth of damage to a house under construction near Dunes Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, according to police.
After arriving at the house, located on Ocean Boulevard on July 13, a man told police he saw damages totaling $12,100, according the police report. The complainant stated he noticed a window had been smashed in, paint had been poured on unfinished hardwood, an uninstalled icemaker was damaged, holes in the walls upstairs, outdoor lighting destroyed and more, the report states.
The house was due to be finished by July 18.
Police found blood on the balcony railing and hand prints on the windows, according to the report.
Crime scene investigators processed the scene.
