DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Several suspects have been arrested following multiple break-ins in Darlington County. Two of them are connected to the crimes, officials say.
The arrests took place at a residence located on Sable Lane in South Hartsville, Sheriff Byrd said.
Three to four break-ins happened between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. Friday in Darlington County, according to Sheriff Byrd.
A couple witnesses saw individuals and saw what they believed to be a white Marquis and described the suspect(s) at the break-in to authorities.
Following a separate break in, located in the Clyde area, officials received a description that was the same as that from the previous incident.
At around 3 p.m., officials from the Darlington County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page:
"DCSO is looking for a White Mercury Marquis or Ford Crown Vic, occupied by 3 B/M's, suspects in multiple home break-ins today. They are considered armed and dangerous."
Just before 8 p.m. Friday, Sheriff Wayne Byrd tweeted, "Vehicle from this morning located, possible suspects in custody."
Investigators gathered evidence from Sable Lane.
The White Marquis has been towed.
