CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Construction for turn lanes along Carolina Forest Boulevard is set to begin Monday, July 7.
The project will start at the Walker's Woods and Southgate subdivisions, then move to the Avalon subdivision, and finally to the Summerlyn subdivision and Horry County Recreation Center/Library facilities, according to a news release. Work is expected to take approximately four months, depending on weather conditions.
Speed limits will be reduced in the construction areas.
Lane closures will be done at night, when construction is active.
Electronic message boards will be placed along Carolina Forest Boulevard to inform drivers.
