Little River man pleads guilty to first-degree burglary

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A Little River man has pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary stemming from a 2013 investigation.

Melvin Johnson, 26, pleaded guilty in a Conway courtroom. Johnson entered a neighbor's home on August 19, 2013, while on drugs and severely beat the two residents inside, according to an Horry County solicitor.

Johnson was sentenced to 15 years in prison without parole.
