(WMBF) - Before you go out to visit the city hall or your local community center, think twice it may be closed. Several local facilities will be closed in celebration of Independence Day on Friday, July 4.
Myrtle Beach City offices and facilities are closed for the holiday. Residential solid waste and recycling collections will occur Monday through Thursday, but there is no service on Friday, July 4.
The following City of North Myrtle Beach facilities will be closed on Independence Day:
• City Hall
• J. Bryan Floyd Community Center
• North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center
The City of Darlington offices will be closed. Trash and recycling will be collected, as scheduled. The Darlington city pool will also be open during its regular hours.
All Horry County offices, other than public safety operations, will be closed on July 4. Regular courts may be in operation in the Horry County Government and Justice Center and jurors, witnesses, etc. are required to be present.
The Florence County Library System will be closed from July 4 through Sunday, July 6. Normal hours will resume on Monday, July 7.
City offices and facilities in Georgetown County will be closed Friday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday.
