MBPD investigating drive-by shooting on Dunbar Street

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police is investigating a shooting that happened on Dunbar Street around 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to a police report.

A witness told police up to six shots were fired out of a small, four-door, green car parked at the corner of Dunbar and Graham Streets.

Two people were standing outside a home when the shooting started. One witness ran off after hearing the gunshots, the other spoke with police when they arrived.

According to the report, a witness stated that once the suspects in the car stopped shooting, the green car fled the scene southbound towards Mr. Joe White Avenue.

One car was damaged in the shooting, but no serious injuries were reported.
