FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Harvest Hope Food Bank held a press conference Thursday morning to announce their plans to provide meals for struggling families in the Pee Dee.

This summer, the goal is to provide six million meals or two million meals each month. So far, Harvest Hope has provided 979,060 meals this month and fed over 300 families. Resources are still needed in order to reach the goal of two million meals before the end of June. Members of the community can help by contributing monetary donations to the organization.

Harvest Hope is on West Lucas Street in Florence. They also have two other locations in Columbia and Greenville.
