CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Two men were arrested and charged with armed robbery, among other charges, after they allegedly tied a victim up at his Conway home, held a knife to his throat, and stole his money, possessions, and car.
On May 22, Horry County Police responded to a home west of Conway and met with the victim, according to a HCPD report. He told officers that one suspect held a knife to his throat and demanded cash, while another suspect tied him up with cords and gagged him. The two suspects kicked the 28-year-old victim until he pretended to pass out, at which time the suspects left, taking the victim's cash and belongings with them. They also took the victim's car.
On Wednesday, James Thomas Coulter, 33, of Galivants Ferry, and Larry Alan Coulter, 33, of Myrtle Beach, were arrested and booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on charges of kidnapping, armed robbery, grand larceny, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. They remain incarcerated.
