SLED, Georgetown officials investigating house fire

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The State Law Enforcement Division and The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office are investigating a house fire.

Three people were injured after a home in Plantersville was destroyed by fire Saturday morning. 

According to officials, the fire occurred in the 3000 block of Jackson Village Road around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities say three people were home at the time.

Two victims were taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital for their injuries. Another victim was taken to the Augusta Burn Center. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
