Suspected drug dealers arrested after drugs, guns found on boat

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
Investigators have arrested two suspected drug dealers after drugs and guns were seized on a boat at the Murrells Inlet boat landing in Georgetown County.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's arrested 21-year-old Hunter Strickland of Murrells Inlet and 23-year-old Michael Ford of Georgetown on drug dealing charges.

On Friday, authorities responded to the Murrells Inlet Boat Landing for a report of criminal activity.

Agents seized several hundred pills, over 130 grams of high grade marijuana, packaging materials, two loaded handguns and a loaded assault rifle.

An incident report states that the street value of the drugs is more than $10,000.
