Canine carnival to kick off April 26

MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - An event with "paw-dorable" pups is scheduled for this month.

The Canine Carnival and Rescue Day kicks off Saturday, April 26, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at A Dog's Way Inn, according to a press release issued by the pet-friendly kennel business.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Friendly dogs are asked to wear a leash.

The family friendly and fun-filled event will feature tic-tac-toe, best trick, ask the trainer, dog agility clinics and more.

The event will also benefit Keep Our Pets Food Bank, and showcase over a dozen pet rescues from Georgetown to Myrtle Beach with a special area for visiting potential best friends.

The Pet Doctor will be in attendance, administering a trio of vaccines of Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies at a discounted price of $40. The Pet Doctor will also have microchips available for your pet for $25.00.

There is no charge to attend the Canine Carnival and Rescue Day. There will also be raffles, pet supply vendors and refreshments available.

A Dog's Way Inn is located at 761 Pendergrass Avenue (behind T-Bones Steak House) in Murrells Inlet. For more information, call (843) 357-4545.
