CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - The 28th Annual Rivertown Music & Craft Beer Festival will kick off this morning at the historic downtown area of Conway.
The event is from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Great music, a classic car show, vendors and new this year, a craft beer tasting zone will be featured, according to a press release issued by Conway Downtown Alive Spokeswoman Hillary Howard. Beer enthusiasts will enjoy 80+ quality craft beers available for sampling in the Craft Beer Zone.
A Classic Car Show featuring over 125 vehicles will be hosted by Chicora Car Club and is proudly sponsored by a downtown Conway business, Palmetto Chevrolet.
Local and regional bands will provide music ranging from jazz to classic rock from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
At 3:00 p.m., the headliners take the Main Stage with Paperwork performing first, followed by Steady Hand String Band at 4:00 p.m. Conway native Jesse Rice, who co-wrote Florida Georgia Line's smash hit "Cruise" will play at 6:45 p.m. The Mullets will perform at 8:30 p.m.
Local vendors, artists, crafters and merchants will line the downtown streets offering an assortment of wares including from pottery, to photograph, to jewelry and home décor throughout the day.
The Rivertown Music and Craft Beer Festival is free and open to the public.
Food and beer tastings tickets may be purchased on-site. This community event is made possible through the generous support of many local businesses and supporters.
