Stroke prevention seminar to be held in Murrells Inlet

MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - A free seminar on stroke prevention and carotid artery disease will be open to public this month.

Dr. Robert Brockman, a physician with Surgical Specialists of Waccamaw, will hold the seminar on Tuesday, April 29, in Murrells Inlet.

Brockman will speak at noon at Wachesaw Conference Center across from Waccamaw Community Hospital. Dr. Brockman's talk is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System.

The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. Lunch will be served. Space is limited. Reservations can be made online at www.georgetownhospitalsystem.org/physicianlectures or by calling 843.520.7842 to reserve a seat. Wachesaw Conference Center is located at 4367 Riverwood Drive.
