Car clips Hartsville school bus, car flips

HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - A crash involving two cars and a school bus blocked the roadway on Fourth Street Monday afternoon.

According to Trooper Jones, a Hartsville High School bus was stopped in the southbound lane, for children to exit, while another vehicle was stopped in the northbound lane, waiting on the school bus. A third vehicle came up from behind the stopped vehicle, hitting it. After striking the vehicle, it then continued onward, and struck the school bus before overturning. 

Trooper Jones said the crash happened around 4:15 p.m.

There were 17 students and 1 driver on the school bus. No injuries were reported.

One person in the vehicle behind bus was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Two people in th vehicle that initiated accident, are both injured.

All parents were notified.
