MASON, OH (WAVE) – The world's longest inverted roller coaster that sends riders along 4,124 feet of track at speeds up to 68 miles per hour is ready to make its debut.

According to Kings Island officials, Banshee takes thrill seekers to the maximum height of 167 feet before letting them go down a 150-foot curved first drop.

The ride also features a dive loop, a vertical loop encircling the lift hill, a zero-gravity-roll, a pair of batwing inversions, outside loop, spiral, in-line roll and carousel.

Banshee is the first female-inspired thrill ride at a Cedar Fair Entertainment amusement park, which owns and operates Kings Island.

Park officials said the 2 minute and 40 second long ride will be ready to go on the parks opening day, Friday, April 18.
