Ann Trulley said it wasn't just the warm weather and sightseeing Myrtle Beach has to offer that made her want to move, it was the friendly people who made her feel at home.
The couple was featured on an episode of HGTV House Hunters Wednesday night.
Realtor Bryan Boodro of Leonard, Call of Kingston Plantation, said he hopes this national showcase will give a boost to the steadily increasing Myrtle Beach housing market. He said emails have been flying in since House Hunters made its debut.
WMBF News was the first to hear some surprising news of what the Trulley's have in-store with HGTV next.
"The reason I would love to show you the inside of my house, but I can't, is because HGTV has called again and they are coming next Wednesday to film 'House Hunters Where Are They Now?'," Trulley told WMBF News.
Myrtle Beach stole the limelight when it became a place the couple said it can enjoy year round. Realtor Bryan Boodro said he knows the HGTV episode will help show tourists what the Grand Strand has to offer.
