Berkeley Co. Google complex evacuated after bomb threat

The Google Data Center in Berkeley County was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat Thursday morning, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

Dan Moon with the sheriff's office says all the buildings at the Google Data Center had been cleared, and deputies were searching the buildings for a possible explosive device. The complex is located off U.S. Highway 52 in Moncks Corner.

Investigators say a bomb threat was reported at 8:39 a.m. on Thursday.
