MAM draws in homegrown talent

BAREFOOT LANDING, SC (WMBF) - Several celebrities are getting on the green to enjoy the Monday after the Masters event.

Among them Darius Rucker, NASCAR's Michael Waltrip, former USC quarterback Connor Shaw and Alphonso Ribeiro also known as Carlton Banks, from the hit TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Former CCU golfer Dustin Johnson is also back in town.

"It's always great to come back to Myrtle, I still get here as much as I can. I lived here for a long time, so I love coming back to play for all the Myrtle Beach people," Johnson said.

Johnson played for Coastal from 2003 to 2007, where he still holds several records including CCU's career-scoring leader. He also owns the record for best 36 and 54 holes.
