Monday After the Masters continues to grow with success

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - It's a Monday like no other in Myrtle Beach - Monday After the Masters. It drives in people from across the US and even other countries.

This year is different than previous years, because it marks the 20-year-anniversary of the event that continues to grow each year. Tickets sold out in less than 24 hours this year, compared to three days last year.

It's not just golf, though. There will be music, food, entertainment and family fun. Intel will have a technology tent where people can try out 30 different products. Plus, the General Manager of Barefoot Resort says there will be two surprise guests.

This year is the 13th year the Dye Club will host Monday After the Masters. The General Manager of Barefoot Resorts says he predicts in the next 5-to-7 years there could be a big spike in golf interest as baby boomers age, and the focus moves to a younger generation.

Check back soon for the full report about how Monday After the Masters will continue to grow, and why Myrtle Beach is one of the best golf destinations in the country.
