DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - A Hartsville woman has been charged in connection to recent dog attacks.
Patsy Jackson, 48, is charged with six counts of possession of a dangerous animal, according Chief Deputy Jerry Thompson.
The Darlington County Sheriff's Office responded to alleged dog attacks in Hartsville just a day apart.
According to police, the first attack took place on Monday, March 31. Police were not called to the scene until six days later. The victim stated she was bitten by three dogs and taken to the hospital.
On Tuesday, April 1, officers responded to a second dog attack, just feet away from the first alleged attack, on Quail Point Road.
Police say the second victim had blood on her legs, hands and face from the attack.
Animal Control took the dogs for rabies testing.
Police arrested Jackson on Tuesday, April 8.
According to Darlington County Detention Center's website, Jackson's bond is set at $7,500 for these charges.
