MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A restaurant to serve the folks in Myrtle Beach is arriving this week.
Moe's Southwest Grill will kick off with a grand opening fundraiser Wednesday, April 9 and officially opens for regular business, a day later on Thursday.
The new Moe's will be located in the Sayebrook Town Center at 181 Brookton Circle Unit 3.
To celebrate the grand opening of Moe's Southwest Grill, franchise owner Clif Bullard and manager Gary Wargo will be opening the doors early from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a special "rivalry" fundraiser for two local high schools.
During this time, it will be $10 all-you-can-eat with 100 percent of the proceeds from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. going to St. James High school and from 6 – 7:30 p.m. going to Socastee High School.
The fundraiser is open to everyone, and most importantly, students, staff, and alumni of each high school who will battle to raise more money than the other. The high school that raises the most money will win a special bonus on top of the proceeds raised from the event.
Moe's Southwest Grill will open its doors for regular business on Thursday, April 10 at 11 a.m. There will be radio remotes, the Moe's prize wheel with additional giveaways and $3 burritos all day for the grand opening.
