HGTC students put their messages against sexual assault on the line

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – This week, students at Horry Georgetown Technical College are painting t-shirts with their own messages in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

HGTC and the Rape Crisis Center partnered up to bring "The Clothesline Project" to all three HGTC campuses in Myrtle Beach, Conway, and Georgetown.

On Monday, students at the Conway Campus were invited to paint their own shirt with a message to be hung on the clothes line, leading up to the 2nd Annual Break the Silence Walk at the Market Common from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

Students at the Georgetown campus will participate on Wednesday, and organizers will be at the Grand Strand campus on Thursday.
