Store owner charged for illegal gambling machines

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Four women were cited and one man is facing charges after a search warrant was served on a business on Front Street in Georgetown.

Georgetown Police and SLED agents served that warrant at Charlie's Music Co. on March 18 in search of illegal gambling machines.

They located 10 Pot O' Gold machines, one Mega Touch machine, $2,650 in cash and debit card receipts.

Four woman in the store at the time - Mabelyn Hanks, Lydia Frasier, Maria Smith and Cynthia Morant - were ticketed for gambling.

the store's owner, Ricky Lee Bone, was charged with maintaining a gambling establishment. He turned himself in to police on Thursday.
