HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Chili's in Carolina Forest is hosting a fundraiser all day Sunday for the Horry County Firefighter Relief fund.

The restaurant is donating 10 percent of their sales Sunday in appreciation of the first responders for the Windsor Green Fire. The fire destroyed dozens of condos at the Windsor Green complex in Carolina Forest one year ago, on March 16, 2013.

"It's an all day event so whether lunch, dinner, or drinks, come on out and be sure to thank the general manager Jodi Aldridge and the crew for making this happen for all of us," stated a HCFRF representative on the organization's Facebook page. Aldridge lost her home and belongings in the Windsor Green fire.

On Friday, Windsor Green residents gathered for a ‘Restoration Celebration' commemorating the tragedy and the restoration of the homes destroyed one year ago.

The Chili's is located at 100 Orchard Dr off of Highway 501 and is open from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday.
