March A Busy One For Myrtle Beach Convention Center Events

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Convention Center are keeping busy in March with a wealth of events to benefits its members and the community at large.

The following cheerleading events will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center:

• March 14 through March 16 – Cheer Ltd. Nationals at CANAM – www.CheerLTD.com 

• March 21 through March 23 – American Super Starz – www.ac.varsity.com/az-general.aspx 

• March 26 through March 30 – Battle at the Beach Cheerleading – www.SpiritSports.com 

Below is a list of dates, times and events for March. All events will be free and held at the Chamber's main office, located at 1200 N. Oak St., in Myrtle Beach, unless otherwise noted:

• March 4 – Behind the Scenes: Warren and Harmon Commercial Interiors will run the event from 8:30 to 10 a.m. It will take place at their business, which is located at 951 Mr. Joe White Ave., in Myrtle Beach. This is a members-only event – registration deadline is March 3.

• March 6 – Nexsen Pruet Employment Law Quarterly Breakfast: Smartphones at Work – A Smart Idea? The event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Convention Center.

• March 10 – McNair Law Firm Grand Strand Business Series: Fiduciary Duties – 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• March 11 – Entrepreneurial Readiness will start at 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event cost $20 per person and includes lunch.

• March 12 – Sixty Minutes to Success: Effective Discipline – 8 to 9:30 a.m.

• March 13 – Business After Hours: Sticky Fingers Smokehouse – 5 to 7 p.m. – The event will take place at Sticky Fingers Smokehouse which is located at 2461 Coastal Grand Circle in Myrtle Beach. This is a members-only event – registration deadline is March 12.

• March 18 – Go Green, $ave Green – 12 to 1 p.m.

• March 19 – B-to-B Connects – 8 to 9:30 a.m.

• March 25 – Get Your Business Online with Google – 1 to 3 p.m.

• March 26 – Social Media Marketing – 8:30 to 10 a.m.

• March 27 – Mentoring Roundtable for Entrepreneurs – 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Must register by phone (803-765-7381) or email – lmartin@aarp.org 

• March 27 – Business After Hours: Coastal Carolina National Bank. The event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the bank which is located at 1012 38th Ave. North, Suite 100, in Myrtle Beach. This is a members-only event – registration deadline is March 26

    NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Warrants could be issued as early as Sunday after a Myrtle Beach woman allegedly shot at her ex-boyfriend  and his new girlfriend in the parking lot of Walmart on Highway 17.     ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - One man is dead and another seriously injured after an incident at the Campbell's Soup factory in Maxton Sunday morning.
