Food Lion to host job fair, hire 175 part-time workers

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Food Lion is planning on hiring approximately 175 part-time associates for the Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island markets. The job fair will take place next week, Tuesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 6.

The available associate positions include meat cutters, deli/bakery, grocery, customer service, cashiers, quality assurance, stockers, frozen food and dairy.

Bay Watch Resort on 2701 S. Ocean Blvd. in North Myrtle Beach, will host the first fair Tuesday, March 4 from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort on 1200 S. Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach will host the second portion of the event Thursday, March 6 from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

    The Pawleys Island Chapel is being carefully moved across the street Friday so that repairs can be made on the building’s foundation. The church, which has been in the Pawleys Island community for about 50 years, is being lifted and moved across Myrtle Avenue between the North and South Causeways.
