RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - The deadline for organizations to apply for grants from the N.C. Arts Council is approaching.
Applications are due March 3. To be eligible, an organization must have non-profit status; have been producing quality arts programs for at least two consecutive years; and have prior-year organization cash-operating expenses of at least $20,000.
The North Carolina Arts Council 2014-2015 grant guidelines for organizations are now available at www.ncarts.org.
Grant awards are recommended by panels of civic leaders and arts experts based on artistic merit, benefit of the project to the state's citizens, and the applicant's organizational strength and capacity.
