'Party Down South' cast member faces burglary charge

MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - A cast member for the reality show "Party Down South," which is filmed is Murrells Inlet, has been arrested in Louisiana.

Maurice Police Chief Warren Rost confirms 28-year-old Lyle Boudreaux was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 23 around 2 a.m.

Chief Rost says Boudreaux was out drinking at City Bar, established in 1927, and found an unlocked SUV in the parking lot.

Boudreaux allegedly opened the door and found a wallet in a purse. A credit card in that wallet was then taken by Boudreaux to another bar, the Booze Barn, to open a tab.

Officers responded to the vehicle theft, and with the help of surveillance video and a bartender, were able to identify Boudreaux as the one who took the card.

Boudreaux denied it and paid his tab in cash. He was booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail and later released on $10,000 bond.

According to the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office, he was charged with simple burglary. His address on their booking website is listed in Lafayette, Louisiana.
