MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The NASCAR SpeedPark partners up with Freedom Readers, Inc., and the PARC Foundation, to launch a campaign, which invites guests to round up their in-park purchases to the nearest whole dollar. This campaign will begin on March 1 through the end of May; and a portion of the proceeds will be given in support of Freedom Readers.
Freedom Readers mission consists of providing one-to-one literacy tutoring and improving reading skills in low income communities, providing free books for home libraries, and inspiring high-energy learning environments. Freedom Readers connects people through comprehensive programs, that offers individuals, opportunities to improve career prospects, and academic performance, in order to alleviate poverty.
