Myrtle Beach Police release sketch of bank robbery suspect

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a Carolina Trust bank at about 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, and have released a sketch of what he may look like.

According to Captain David Knipes with Myrtle Beach Police, a male suspect wearing a white t-shirt, a blue hat and blue jeans robbed the Carolina Trust at 1010 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. No weapon was seen during the robbery.

The man is described as a 5-foot-5-inch tall black man, 190 to 200 pounds in weight, with a goatee, who appears to be in his 40s.

Myrtle Beach Police ask that anyone with information contact the Investigations Division.
