HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - If you earn less than $50,000, you are eligible to get your taxes done for free at Coastal Carolina University, as part of the VITA Tax program.
The VITA program, which stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, is sponsored by the IRS. It is a nationwide volunteer program for low and moderate-income taxpayers.
VITA Volunteers receive tax training before they begin volunteering at a tax site.

Surfside Beach Library: 410 Surfside Drive, Surfside Beach
Tuesdays: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. / January 28 to April 15
