GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) – Grocery shopping can be expensive, but knowing how to read nutrition labels is the first step in stretching food dollars and making healthier food choices.
Georgetown Hospital System dietitians are leading a free supermarket tour Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Pawleys Island. The tour is set for 5 p.m. at the Food Lion, located at 9380 Ocean Highway. Participants will learn how to read labels, pick healthy snacks, shop on a budget and how marketing influences our food choices.
