NASCAR Speedpark re-opening soon for the 2014 season

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The NASCAR Speedpark in Myrtle Beach, will be kicking off their 2014 season on Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. NASCAR is giving the first 25 guests in the door a free unlimited ride wristband entry on opening day.

This includes an all-day access to six kid's rides, the park's outdoor rock climbing wall, two miniature golf courses, and access to six go-kart tracks. In addition to the all day unlimited ride pass, you can also register to win two tickets to the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on April 12.

The park will be introducing some new attractions this year, such as the SpeedDome Arcade and possibly a new kids' attraction.

"With Spring Break fast approaching, we're anticipating a great start to the season. We're focused on delivering an outstanding experience for our guests to continue our mission of creating special places where magical moments become treasured memories," says Lakeisha Dukes, General Manager at NASCAR SpeedPark Myrtle Beach.

This season, the park is also launching the Vacation pass, this will give visitors an opportunity to purchase a pass that is valid for the length of their stay at only $10 more than a single-day wristband. The pass will be valid up to 31 days so guests will be able to enjoy unlimited access to the park for the duration of their vacation.

The perks of this vacation pass includes, discounts on drinks, food, merchandise, and bring-a-friend admissions. The Unlimited ride wristbands and vacation passes are on sale now, and can be purchased online at Other season passes are also currently available for purchase online as well.

Nascar SpeedPark operation hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through April 6th, then move to extended seasonal hours, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting April 7th.
