2014 Monday After The Masters Celebrity Pro-Am

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach 20thannual Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am is officially sold out.

Tickets for the 2014 Monday After the Masters sold out in one day, tournament organizers announced. "Tickets seem to sell a little faster every year, and that's a testament to the strength of the relationship between the tournament and Myrtle Beach," said Paul Graham, MAM's tournament director. "Myrtle Beach loves golf and good time, and this year's event will deliver a lot of both on April 14."

Headlining the event are former South Carolina Gamecock stars Marcus Lattimore, Connor Shaw and Denny Hamlin, a 23-time NASCAR winner. Grammy Award winning musician Branford Marsalis, Super Bowl champion quarterback Jim McMahon, Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers and two-time Daytona 500 champion Michael Waltrip are among the big names who have already committed to return to the event.

The day will start with ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike Show broadcasting live from the first tee at the Dye Course. This will mark the 12thconsecutive year the event is played at the Dye Course and festivities will begin with the Celebrity Long Drive contest at 10 a.m. The tournament will tee off at 11 a.m.

MAM is the largest one-day charity event in South Carolina, raising more than $4.5 million for education in the Palmetto State and the South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation.
