Most Wanted: Suspects wanted for tax fraud, firearms violation, domestic violence

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Information from WMBF News viewers could be just what the Horry County Sheriff's Office needs to help get this week's "Most Wanted" suspects off the streets.

On this week's edition of Horry County's Most Wanted, we're looking at a case of tax fraud, a firearms violation, and a case of domestic abuse.

Linda Michelle Watson Bellamy, 34, is wanted for failure to appear for forgery over ten thousand dollars and willfully assisting in false or fraudulent tax return. Bellamy's case has been turned over to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and she could be facing some real time if she is convicted. Bellamy's last known address is on Radius Road in Longs.

The next suspect this week is 61-year-old Betty J. Allen. Allen is wanted for failure to appear for pointing and presenting a firearm. The police report says she pointed a .22 caliber rifle with the intent of shooting the victim, but he wrestled her to the ground. The gun went off, but fortunately, no one was hurt. Allen's last known address is on Wise Road in Conway.

The final suspect this week is 32-year-old David Junior Parker. Parker is wanted for failure to appear for criminal domestic violence, his 2nd offense. According to the report, Parker tried kicking in the victim's door in April. When police arrived the victim was in a panicky state. Parker's last known address is on Tin Top in Conway.

    The school district is in the process of hiring around 250 teachers for next school year and is holding an information session about alternative certification Thursday, according to Spokesperson for Horry County School District, Lisa Bourcier. Recruitment started in January and the district has already started making job offers. According to Bourcier, leaders are hoping to complete the hiring process over the summer.
