WMBF News Olympics Coverage Schedule - Thursday, February 13

Here is the NBC Olympics coverage airing on WMBF News Thursday, February 13, 2014:

NBC Daytime – 3pm – 5pm

Biathlon (Men's 20km Indiv.), Luge (Team Relay)

Tim Burke won silver in the 20km individual at 2013 Worlds, becoming the first U.S. biathlete to reach the podium at the event since 1987. The New York native will be gunning for the first U.S. Olympic Biathlon medal. In Luge, the fastest competitors from each nation will join forces in the team relay.

WMBF Olympic Zone – 7:30pm – 8pm

(New) The region's athletes competing in the Winter Olympics in Sochi are featured by the WMBF news team, showcasing how they fared in the Olympic Trials.

NBC Primetime 8pm – 11:30pm

Freestyle Skiing (Men's Slopestyle), Speed Skating (Women's 1000m), Figure Skating (Men's Short Program), Skeleton (Women's)

Men's short program Figure Skating begins, and 19-year-old Nick Goepper leads a deep crop of U.S. skiers in the slopestyle final. In women's 1000m Speed Skating, roommates Heather Richardson and Brittany Bowe will be stiff competition for each other. Plus Noelle Pikus-Pace expects to compete for Skeleton gold after coming out of retirement in 2012.

NBC Latenight – 12:10am – 1:10am

Short Track (Women's 500m, Men's Relay), Cross-Country (Women's 10km)

Top American Aly Dudek, who won bronze in the relay in Vancouver, competes in her signature event, the four-and-a-half-lap 500m. Also J.R. Celski looks to lead the American men into the final of the 5000m relay, and Therese Johaug and Marit Bjorgen will likely pace the 10km classical women's Cross-Country final.

NBC Prime Replay 1:10am – 4:30am

    The Pawleys Island Chapel is being carefully moved across the street Friday so that repairs can be made on the building’s foundation. The church, which has been in the Pawleys Island community for about 50 years, is being lifted and moved across Myrtle Avenue between the North and South Causeways.
