Police: Loris man wanted for forgery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police are on the hunt for a Loris man wanted for forgery.

Joseph Theodore Bennett, 22, is a black male standing 6'2" tall and weighing around 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

According to a police report, Bennett tried to cash checks at Walmart from another man's business account.

The victim was contacted by his bank after one check was cashed at a bank on Restaurant Row.

Bennett was last known to live on Paris Lane in Loris. If you know where he is, contact the Myrtle Beach Police Department at 843-918-1382.
