GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has taken 39-year-old Jimmy Cagle into custody. He was wanted for armed robbery and kidnapping.
His charges stem from an incident that occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 when he purportedly held a knife to someone's throat and took their wallet.
Cagle fled with an unknown amount of money after forcing the victim to drive him to several locations at knife point. The victim was not injured.
Cagle was arrested on March 10 at a home on Dover Street after the sheriff's office received a tip to his location. He is charged with kidnapping, armed robbery and robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.
