NASCAR SpeedPark holding job fair in February

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The NASCAR SpeedPark in Myrtle Beach will be holding a job fair in February for the 2014 tourist season to hire over 75 seasonal positions.

The job fair will be held on Saturday, February 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the SpeedPark, located at 1820 21st Ave. North Ext. The park is offering opportunities in all departments: admissions, retail, food and beverage, track and ride attendants, plus various supervisory and operational lead opportunities.

WMBF News originally reported that the job fair was on Monday, February 17, but the NASCAR Speedpark changed the date.

    The school district is in the process of hiring around 250 teachers for next school year and is holding an information session about alternative certification Thursday, according to Spokesperson for Horry County School District, Lisa Bourcier. Recruitment started in January and the district has already started making job offers. According to Bourcier, leaders are hoping to complete the hiring process over the summer.
