Hunter Renfrow gives verbal commitment to Clemson

Hunter Renfrow took the Socastee football program to new heights as the team's quarterback over the last two seasons, and now he'll try his luck in the upstate next season, giving a verbal commitment to the Clemson Tigers.

He also tweeted the news on Thursday night, saying "@RenfrowHunter: Officially going to be a Tiger next year! Thanks to everyone whose gotten me to this point! #WideReceiverUniversity #Allin".

Renfrow will join the program as a preferred walk on at the wide receiver position. As quarterback for the Braves the last two years, he took them to 24 wins against only two losses. Renfrow finished second in this season's Primetime Performer of the Year final poll.
