MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – As the severe winter storm begins to move across our area, several flights out of Myrtle Beach International Airport and Florence Regional Airport have been canceled.
Delta flight 4888, set to arrive in Myrtle Beach from Atlanta at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday, has been canceled. All other arriving flights are listed as on time or scheduled.
The following MYR flights were canceled, according to airport officials:

- Flight 2798 - Charlotte

January 28, 2014 – Commercial airlines operating in/out of MYR have canceled all flights for the reminder of the day.
January 29, 2014 – In preparation for severe weather, commercial airlines have begun delaying/canceling flights for tomorrow morning.
Horry County Department of Airports is asking all passengers to check with their respective airlines (via the airlines 1-800 # or website) about the status of their upcoming flights, prior coming to the airport
Loris Twin City Airport
January 28, 2014 – Horry County Department of Airports has issued a notice to airman that Loris Twin Cities Airport (5J9) is closed as a result of weather conditions
So far, two flights scheduled to depart from Florence Regional Airport for Charlotte, North Carolina have been canceled: Air Wisconsin Flight 4084, and Piedmont Airlines Flight 4161, scheduled to leave at 5:50 a.m. and 9:49 a.m. respectively.
An official at the Florence Regional Airport confirmed that all flights on Tuesday, January 28 have been canceled.
