CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Conway Police say they are looking for a suspect who robbed the BB&T Bank in Conway Monday morning, and are investigating him in connection to four other robberies since Friday.

According Conway Police spokeswoman Lt. Selena Small, officers responded to the bank at 2300 Highway 501 East at about 9:08 a.m. Monday in reference to a bank robbery. Employees told officers that a teller was robbed and the suspect ran off.

Police describe the suspect as a white man with brown hair and a brown mustache, wearing a green ski  cap and a blue long-sleeve shirt.

"At this time we are asking for anyone with any information concerning the incident or that can identify the subject in the photograph to contact the Conway Police Department at 843-248-1790," Lt. Small said.

Since Saturday, three more robberies, and one attempted robbery, have taken place. The suspect from each of the robberies matches the description above. The three photos of the suspect that have been released also appear to be strikingly similar.

Lieutenant Small said since the suspect photos appear to be the same person, each of the local agencies involved are working together to try to identify the suspect.
