FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two bodies have been sent to the Medical University of South Carolina for autopsy after the remains were found in an Effingham home.
A passerby discovered the remains at a home on Ashford Drive in Effingham and notified the Florence County Sheriff's Office. They say the remains had been in the home for some time.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken sent the bodies for forensic autopsy at MUSC in Charleston to determine the cause of death. He has not released the identity of the deceased pending notification of the next of kin.
