Shrine Clowns host 'One Club' Golf Tournament

SURFSIDE, SC (WMBF) - The OMAR Shrine Clowns will hold their 31st annual "One Club Golf Tournament" on Saturday, February 15 at Coastal Carolina University, General James Hackler Golf Course in Conway.

Play will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The entry is $50.00 and includes greens, cart fees, and an awards banquet immediately following the tournament. Space is limited to a field of 120 players. It is individual play and you must play the entire game with "One Club."

The deadline to register is February 10. To register call Randall Mishoe at 843-488-9863, email mishoe@coastal.edu or call Wayne Carey at 443-812-3709 or email Bwaynecarey@sc.rr.com.

Businesses are encouraged to donate prizes, become hole sponsors or to advertise on the golf towels. The cost to be a hole sponsor is $50 or $100, and a nice sign will be placed on the hole. For $250 businesses can have their name/logo placed on the commemorative towel that will be given to each player.

Net proceeds from the tournament will support the Shrines' burn centers and children's hospital located throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Please send a list of the players along with a check of $50 per player. Make checks payable to OMAR Shrine Clowns and mail to: Omar Shrine Clowns, P.O. Box 14572 Surfside Beach, SC 29587.
